Is there ever the perfect time to start a new thing? I set this all up and was feeling a little burst of creativity and positivity and then lost a good friend and had to be a sad bitch for a while. And then I was just stuck on the perfect first entry and being enchanting and witty and showing a cool project. But my life doesn’t do perfect, so this is what you get.

So I’m at my dining room table, my husband just finished some shitty leftover pizza for lunch and has a case of the Mondays, there is a guy with a chainsaw taking down an apple tree in my side yard which is probably 15 feet from where I’m sitting indoors, and my belly hurts. So yeah, I’m just jumping in to get something here because there will never be the perfect first blog or the perfect first thing to wrote about and that’s just the way it goes.

I’m Annie. I knit a lot. A real lot. I have possible endless amounts of yarn, and fabric because I also sew. I’m crafty as hell. I read a lot. I think I like to write, I’m considering jumping into NaNoWriMo again this year. I have chronic illnesses, both physical and mental. I curse A LOT. I like capitalizing random words because that’s how I talk. I’m a care partner for my husband with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease and we live in the Midwest and have been married for 25 years.
